“Spheres & Silhouettes” is a dark concept album telling a story about a person who is leaving earth. He is deeply confused by processes of self-destruction which human kind suffers from. These processes operate both internally (observation and data abuse) and externally (disease caused by nuclear power). The leading character couldn’t stand this desperate misery, which lead him to leave our solar system. His feelings are affected by both easement and anger at the leaders of the dying world he left behind. While he gets lost in dark emptiness beyond the edges of the solar system, earth is dying from the disaster caused by nuclear apocalypse – meanwhile the voice of an infant moans human failure…
This work is an attempt to tell a conceptual story without using amounts of words, but letting sound structures take effect and tell what happens.
The music of this album has been influenced by following artists and music:
- Roger Waters
- Radiohead
- Portishead
- Pink Floyd (The Great Gig In The Sky!)
- Pulp Fiction Soundtrack
- Depeche Mode
- Kraftwerk
- Coldplay
I hope you’ll enjoy the album.
